The questions sellers actually ask.
Do I have to leave Etsy and TikTok?
No — and you should not. Your store is built around your marketplaces and synced to them, so you keep every sale you already make and simply add a place you own. The point is to stop depending on the marketplaces, not to walk away from working channels.
Why does owning my own store matter?
Two reasons: margin and customers. Marketplace fees come off every order, and the platform — not you — owns the buyer relationship. On your own store you keep the margin and capture the customer, so you can sell to them again without paying to reach them each time.
How does the pricing work?
One-off build fee, priced only by how many products we import (up to 250, 500 or 1,000). Then a simple monthly care plan on top, with a 3-month minimum and rolling after that. Over 1,000 products, or want an online-only catalogue scoped? We quote it on your review call.
What does Shopify itself cost?
You own the Shopify account and pay Shopify directly — roughly £29/mo including the app that runs the Etsy sync. There is no separate hosting fee to us; your monthly care plan covers the ongoing work, not the platform.
What's the sync, and can't I do it myself?
Real-time inventory sync keeps stock accurate across Etsy, TikTok Shop and your store so you never oversell or list twice. It is the single hardest part of coming off marketplaces, and the part that quietly breaks — so we wire it and test it with real orders before you go live.
How long does it take?
From your kickoff call to a live store is typically a few weeks, depending on catalogue size and how quickly we get your brand assets and channel approvals. Nothing gets built before the kickoff call, so the plan is agreed up front.
Do I own everything?
Yes. Your Shopify account, your domain, your customer list and your data are all yours. While you are with us we build, connect and look after the store; if you ever move on, everything stays with you.
Is there a long contract?
No. The care plan has a 3-month minimum to get you set up and settled, then runs rolling month to month. You can step up a tier any time, and cancel after the minimum whenever you like.
