Intelligence Reports
Market Analysis. Read your industry, on a page.
An industry-specific intelligence report that synthesises what's actually moving in your vertical — demand, regulation, viral trends, technology shifts, supply-side news. Sized for a 20-minute read, not a 200-page document.
Who this is for
A market analysis report earns its place when you can no longer tell whether a shift in performance is you or the market.
Performance moved
Brands whose performance just dropped (or jumped) and they can't tell if it's them or the market.
Board-facing leads
Marketing leads who walk into board meetings and need to explain their category in two minutes.
Weighing a pivot
Anyone considering a new product line, market entry, or pivot who wants an external read before committing budget.
Concrete deliverables. No fluff, no slideware.
Every output below is something you keep — a document, a fix, a system, a decision. Nothing is 'discovery findings' that vanish at the end of the engagement.
Demand & search trend analysis
Google Trends + UK search volume movement on your category's headline terms. A full year of trend, seasonal pattern, year-on-year delta.
Industry news roundup
Material news from the last 90 days — supplier moves, brand acquisitions, regulator action, retail shake-outs. Curated, not scraped.
Regulatory & compliance changes
What's changed (or about to) in your vertical — UK-specific. ICO, ASA, HSE, FSA, Trading Standards, MHRA, depending on category.
Viral & social trends
What's moving on TikTok, Reels, and search — products, formats, problems-being-solved. Specifically for your vertical, not generic.
External factors quantified
Weather, economy, currency, holiday calendar — whatever materially affects your demand, with the numbers.
Verdict & implications
Three to five strategic implications drawn out — 'so what?' for your business specifically. Action items, not summary.
Branded PDF report
10–15 page PDF with executive summary, sectioned analysis, and an appendix of sources. Built for forwarding.
What changes in your business.
You stop wondering whether the dip is you or the market. You can defend, attribute, and forecast with data — to your team, to your board, to your investors, or just to yourself before making the next call.
Most clients run this quarterly. It costs less than a single bad bid-strategy decision and prevents several.
A clear, predictable process.
Brief
20-minute call to confirm vertical, geography, and the strategic question driving the report (e.g. 'should I scale spend?' vs 'should I exit a product line?').
Synthesis
We pull demand data, news, regulatory updates, social trends, and external factors. Cross-referenced against our market-analyst skills for your sector. 3–5 working days.
Report delivery
Final PDF emailed. Optional 30-minute discussion call included if you want to talk through implications.
What you actually receive.
The deliverable shape, not real client data. Synthetic numbers and identifiers used throughout.
Every section is drawn out with its implication, so you and your team know precisely what the signal means and what to do about it.
Indicative price. Final quote tailored.
We can't give a single fixed price for every business — what's straightforward for one client is complex for another. The figure below is the floor; your final quote depends on the variables underneath it.
From £200 · one-off
An industry-specific intelligence report that synthesises what's actually moving in your vertical — demand, regulation, viral trends, technology shifts, supply-side news.
What changes the final price
- Vertical breadth: a single product category (e.g. 'network cabling') is the floor. Multi-vertical (e.g. 'all home improvement') costs more.
- Geographic scope: UK is the floor. Multi-region adds research depth.
- Specific decision driving the request: a board-level pivot decision typically warrants a deeper report than a routine quarterly read.
- Refresh cadence: one-off £200. Quarterly subscription priced lower per report.
- Custom data requests: bespoke surveys, primary research interviews, or data partnerships sit outside this scope and are quoted separately.
Maturity stage
Best aligned to all stages of the Digital Marketing Maturity Model.
This is one of our supporting services — designed to close a specific gap in your team or operation. Optional, scoped to fit, and never obligatory. If we don't think you need it yet, we'll tell you.
The questions businesses actually ask.
How is this different from a Mintel or Statista report?
Mintel and Statista give you breadth across the whole sector. We give you depth and 'so what?' for your specific business — what to do about it, ranked. Different jobs to be done. We'd happily reference Mintel data inside ours where useful.
Do you cover B2B verticals?
Yes — IT hardware, workwear, trade tools, plumbing supplies, and others. We have specialist market-analyst skills for each. If your vertical isn't on our list, ask before booking.
How much of the report is automated?
About 30%. The data pulls (search trends, news scraping, regulatory feeds) are automated. The synthesis, sector judgement, and 'so what?' analysis is manual — that's the value.
Can you brief my CMO/board with this?
Yes — for an additional fee we'll join the meeting and present the report. Saves the leadership reading time and gives them a Q&A target.
Will it predict next quarter's demand?
We give a directional read with confidence levels — not a magic-number forecast. If you need a hard forecast, we'd build that as a separate piece using your historic data + the macro signals from this report.
